Paya, formerly Sage Payment Solutions (SPS), today announced strategic additions to its executive leadership team. Gregory “Greg” Cohen has joined the company as chief operating officer. Darrell Winfield is announced as Paya’s new chief information officer.

Private-equity firm GTCR, which bought Paya from its British parent company The Sage Group plc, appointed veteran independent sales organization executive Joe Kaplan as chief executive of the merchant processor, and also announced that it would invest $350 million to support Sage.
